Concrete Structures Project Manager Auckland

We have an exciting position available for an experienced site based project manager in concrete construction. You will be managing the concrete works for vertical structures including multi-storey office and apartment type buildings. 

To be successful in this role, you should possess the following:

  • Experience in multi-level concrete construction.
  • Pre-cast installation experience.
  • Managing formwork solutions for insitu-concrete.
  • The ability to liaise with clients, subcontractors, and suppliers in matters of project programming, and coordinating sub-trades and deliveries for materials and equipment.
  • To oversee all aspects of the build specific to the projects ensuring timely and cost-effective management of projects.
  • Good understanding of all Health and Safety protocols and processes.
  • Compiling accurate records.
  • The ability to understand, interpret and follow plans.
  • Excellent communication with employees, supervisors, clients, and any other external or internal stakeholders.
  • Reviewing and updating management on project performance, risks and critical issues.

Experience and Qualifications:

  • 5 + years experience working on medium to large projects (focus on multi-level buildings) ideally commercial and multi-residential. 
  • A relevant tertiary qualification or similar qualification in construction. 
  • Negotiation, influencing skills, and problem-solving.
  • Self-motivating qualities with effective time management skills.
  • The ability to work as part of a team with great interpersonal skills.

Quantity Surveyor Auckland

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Commercial Construction Quantity Surveyor.  

About You:

You must be a team player, who takes personal ownership and responsibility for your results ensuring best practice principles are achieved. You will have a solid track record working on and managing commercial construction projects of varying complexity and size. You will have the ability to build and maintain strong relationships with stakeholders at all levels, and the capacity to thrive under pressure to meet tight deadlines. You will play a crucial role in elevating our Company’s contract administration processes and you should embody a combination of expertise, leadership, and professionalism to succeed in this position.

Key Qualifications and Experience:

  • A qualification in Quantity Surveying or Construction Project Management. 
  • Minimum of three years of experience in the commercial construction industry (Experience in pre-cast installations, insitu-concrete, and formwork).
  • Experience with large warehouse and yard slabs to vertical structures such as multi-storey apartments. 
  • Experience in contract admin and contract negotiations, displaying an exceptional grasp of New Zealand Legislation relevant to the field. 
  • Excellent organisational skills, as you will be tasked with overseeing and managing multiple projects concurrently. 
  • The ability to meet deadlines consistently is essential in driving successful project outcomes.
  • Experience engaging with a diverse range of stakeholders, necessitating the capacity to articulate ideas, concerns, and information in a professional and assertive manner.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including proficiency in MS Office, cost management, and estimating software.
  • Proven ability to make sound decisions and exercise judgment in high-pressure environments.
  • A clear thinker with the capacity to identify opportunities and align others to a common approach.

Health and Safety Manager Auckland

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Health and Safety Manager . As Health and Safety Manager you will play a crucial role in leading, maintaining and enhancing H&S in our workplace. You will collaborate closely with a broad range of internal and external stakeholders to ensure compliance.

About the Responsibilities:

  • You will be responsible to develop and implement health and safety policies, procedures, and standards in line with NZ regulations and construction best practices. 
  • Complete daily site inspections and risk assessment to recognize potential risks and hazards and ensure remedial actions are taken immediately. 
  • Train and support employees and subcontractors on health and safety policies and best practices.
  • Investigate incidents, near misses, accidents and implement corrective actions to avoid this in future. 
  • Keep up to date with latest legislative changes and industry trends to ensure ongoing development and advancement of health and safety practices. 

Key Qualifications and Experience: 

  • Proven experience as Health and Safety Manager within the New Zealand construction industry.
  • Relevant qualifications in health and safety management.
  • Leading accident/incident investigations and conducting trend analysis, highlighting a focus on proactive risk mitigation. 
  • In depth knowledge of health and safety regulations and best practices.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to establish and build effective working relationships.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Excellent organisational and problem-solving skills.
  • Attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Great time management skills and ability to meet deadlines and deliver.
