Concrete Placer / Finishers

We are a leading high volume commercial concrete construction company based in Auckland.  Due to growth of the company we are looking for experienced Concrete Placer / Finisher who is passionate and reliable. Be part of a successful and busy team. 

Key Responsibilities and experience required:

  • Prep, Lay and Finish.
  • Raking, Screeding and Vibrating.
  • Walk-behind and Ride-on experience.
  • NZ Residency or a valid NZ work visa.
  • Full NZ Drivers Licence is preferred, but not essential.
  • Ability to read and understand Site Plans is preferred, but not essential.
  • Show Initiative and competency in all work aspects.

Site Supervisor Site Supervisor

We have a challenging and exciting position for a Site Supervisor looking to make a difference.

Are you a site supervisor looking for the next step in your career? We have the ideal position for you!

We are looking for a person with:

  • At least 4+ years site supervisor experience.
  • Solid understanding of all Health and Safety protocols and processes.
  • To liaise with clients, subcontractors and suppliers in matters of project programming, co-ordinating of sub trades and deliveries for materials and equipment.
  • To oversee all aspects of the build specific to the projects ensuring timely and cost effective management of projects.
  • To carry out pre and post pour documentation along with Quality and Assurance documentation.
  • To compile accurate records.
  • The ability to understand, interpret and follow plans.
  • Experience overseeing large sites and projects that are deadline oriented.
  • Excellent communication with employees, supervisors, clients and any other external or internal stakeholders.
  • Reviewing and updating management on project risks and critical issues.
  • A disciplined, self-motivated person with effective time management skills. 
  • Ability to work as part of a team with great interpersonal skills.

Senior Project Engineer / Manager Senior Role

We are looking for a Senior Project Engineer / Manager who is committed and passionate. The position will work hand in hand with the QS to ensure financial and operational obligations are met or exceeded for the projects and ensure that chances for the development of the contract are exploited to deliver increased turnover and profitability.

As our successful candidate, you are a dynamic individual with proven knowledge and experience in project management. You will have the ability and knowledge to take full responsibility for all protocols, processes and success of the projects. 

What we want from you:

  • Solid understanding of all Health and Safety protocols and processes.
  • To liaise with clients, subcontractors and suppliers in matters of project programming, co-ordinating of sub trades and deliveries for materials and equipment.

Experience and Qualifications

  • Commercial and business acumen.
  • 6 + year senior experience working on medium to large projects.
  • Relevant Tertiary Qualification (not essential).
  • Negotiation, influencing skills and problem solving.
  • Be familiar with project tools and techniques.
  • Have excellent verbal, written, presentation and communication skills.
