Orams Marine - Beaumont St, Auckland

Conset were contracted in an early engagement with Orams Marine to assist them with designing and detailing this unique pavement. The slab is used as a dry dock to utilise an 820t capacity marine Travel Lift, the largest of its kind in the southern hemisphere. This equipment is used to lift superyachts out the water onto dry land for servicing. Eliminating moving joints in the slab was an important criteria and the end result was the biggest completely joint free slab ever built in NZ. Conset were then engaged by HEB to construct the pavement. A great team effort working closely with our partners Grouting Services, Podium Concrete, Firth and Certus Consulting.
